Learning Support
We are a non-selective school and seek to develop the full potential of each individual child. We have a real strength in using teaching assistants in the classroom to provide extra support to groups of children.
We are constantly monitoring the progress of every child to en quickly sure we can respondif they appear to be struggling within a subject or topic area. Once this happens, we have a range of options available from small group support within the classroom to individual one-to-one lessons with our learning support teacher.
This enables us to successfully provide a fully inclusive curriculum where every subject and activity is available to every child. The level of support they have and the content can be adapted to suit the individual and allow everyone to reach their full potential.
