Welcome to The Mount School

We, at the Mount School, want our girls to make the most of every opportunity, both inside and outside the classroom.  While many schools claim their pupils fulfil their potential, we believe our girls discover potential they did not know they had!

The ethos and curriculum of The Mount School promote the Quaker values of peace, equality and social justice.  As a successful and well-resourced community, great emphasis is placed on service to others.  Each girl is encouraged to seek the strength to speak her mind and challenge injustice where ever it is encountered.

The Mount provides an environment in which girls are listened to and equipped with the skills to shape their own futures.  Our girls are allowed to grow up at their own pace, free from the pressure to conform to stereotypes.  We support the girls encouraging them to take intellectual risks and living adventurously.
