Top University destinations for Mount School girls
This year saw The Mount School girls achieve their best ever A* to C results.  Principal, Julie Lodrick attributed this success to innovative teaching, enabling the girls to think and learn independently.

The A* to B rate was  a fantastic 82%, with 36% of all the girls achieving at least one A* grade.  Nearly half the girls who sat the AQA Baccalaureate, which includes the Extended Project Qualification, attained an A* with overall Distinction and the other girls were awarded Merit.

An impressive 20% of the girls attained a clean sweep of A* / A grades and destinations include, Music at Oxford, Biological Sciences at Warwick, Chemistry at Imperial, Philosophy, Politics and Economics at Manchester and Product Design Engineering at Glasgow to name a few.

Julie Lodrick added, “This is a superb achievement in what is the most difficult year ever for university entrance.  The success our girls have had in gaining university places is testament to all their hard work throughout their school careers.”
