Friends of The Mount
FOMS exists to coordinate social events aimed at bringing Mount families and girls together in a social setting. These events raise funds and the committee members work with pupils and staff to decide how to allocate money raised and subscriptions collected with the fees. Last year, FOMS was able to provide about £12 500 towards the purchase of a new school minibus! In other years they have provided monies for equipment and events that would otherwise not have been possible for the school to offer the pupils.
All parents and guardians of Mount students are part of FOMS. We encourage anyone who is interested to attend a FOMS meeting.
The next scheduled meeting is Thursday, 15 September 2011 at 7pm in the school hall.
