Uniform

The School has its own Uniform Shop. Families can arrange an appointment for a full uniform fitting either, in advance of their child starting school, or at specific times during the school term.  A selection of pre-owned uniform is also available.

All pupils in The Mount Junior School and The Mount, up to and including Year 11, are expected to wear full school uniform.
 
College I & II girls are asked to conform to a dress code which reflects a more relaxed, mature and business like approach. There are some uniform requirements for P.E. that College students must follow.

The Mount
 
Formal Wear  Every girl should have one smart, below the knee length dress, skirt or  a pair of tailored trousers for formal occasions (i.e. special lectures, theatre visits etc).  This  should be accompanied by a plain sleeved blouse and smart shoes. 
 
College (Sixth Form)  All College girls should wear formal smart clothes for school. A modest length skirt or tailored trousers are perfect. The outfit should include a top with sleeves and a modest neckline, this should be waist length. Smart low - heeled shoes or boots in winter. Girls will need a dress jacket for formal occasions.
 
All College girls will require the basic school P.E. Kit and if taking Science or Art subjects will need lab coats and overalls.
  
Years 7-11
 
Winter Uniform  Kilt to be worn at knee length. A coat must be brought into school every day in the winter.  The uniform is worn with either black knee length socks or black 60 denier opaque tights.
 
Summer Uniform  The summer uniform is compulsory for Years 7 to 11 throughout the Summer Term and is available from the School Shop. The uniform is worn with plain white ankle socks or natural coloured tights and either black or navy shoes.
 
Mount Junior School
 
Nursery  The only compulsory item is the sweatshirt and/or cardigan.
 
Winter Uniform  Girls to wear kilt. Boys to wear long grey trousers.  A coat must be brought into school every day in the winter.  
 
Summer Uniform  Girls to wear a blue and white striped dress.  Boys to wear grey shorts or long grey trousers.
