About Us
Our ethos is deeply ingrained and evidenced in so many of the activities we do.
It has grown out of Quaker values and philosophy and, at its heart, promotes a calm, tolerant approach where children develop the confidence and spirit of adventure to find their own sense of purpose within a supportive community.
Our values underpin all our activities and you can see through our website some of the ways in which we promote them and bring them to the fore.
We value:
· Thinking and living adventurously
· Respecting and valuing every individual
· Growing in a calm and caring community
· Striving for personal excellence
· Making a difference in the changing world
Inclusion is important to us. We welcome children from all religions, cultures and nationalities, and celebrate the religious and cultural diversity within our school.
We do not select children on the basis of ability. We work with each child as an individual to ensure they reach their full potential. We have programmes and activities for children with special gifts and talents and we provide extra support for those experiencing difficulties.
Every child has access to every activity. All children follow all the subjects in our curriculum. They also experience all our sports, from hockey and swimming to rounders, athletics, netball and dance.
By respecting and encouraging individuals in every sphere, we ensure that every possible opportunity remains open to them during their formative years.
