A Taste of Year 7 For The Mount School
On Wednesday we welcomed Year 6 pupils from the Mount Junior School, local York schools and beyond to our Year 7 Taster Day.
The girls sampled life in the Senior School including taking part in a Blues music improvisation session, a flag fact-finding lesson and a practical experiment using the pH Scale to solve a crime.
Over lunch, they were joined by Year 7 pupils who were on hand to show them around and answer any questions about life in Senior School. In the afternoon they took part in an imaginative creative writing workshop and explored fashion illustration in the Art studio.
Thank you to all of the Senior School and College girls who helped throughout the day, as always they were extremely friendly and made a great effort to make our visitors feel so welcome.
