Boarding Pupils Dive into Outdoor Water Adventure at Activity Park
Adventurous Boarding pupils visit Allerthorpe Lakeland Park
Several of our boarders beat the thunderstorms and made the most of the sunshine on Sunday, enjoying a day out together at one of their favourite nearby destinations, Allerthorpe Lakeland Park.
The hot weather meant the water was a refreshing but comfortable 22 degrees! The girls energetically tackled an inflatable obstacle course complete with water trampoline, thunder dome, and gravity corners. After a fun session in the water, they cooled down and relaxed with a picnic lunch and ice cream at the lakeside cafe.
“We can’t wait to come back again next year, and are looking forward to trying out even more of the water sports on offer next time,” comments incoming Head of Boarding Mrs Passmore. “Paddle boarding and a return to the Aqua Park are already in the calendar for Summer Term ‘24! Day girls are most welcome to join us!”
