Bronze Duke of Edinburgh Practice Expedition

Well done to our Bronze Duke of Edinburgh girls who over the weekend trekked through wet and windy conditions to complete their practice expedition in the wilds of Pateley Bridge.

During their two-day hike, the girls came across wildlife, farm animals and a sweet little Shetland pony. Now that the mud has been cleaned off and the clouds have parted, they are looking forward to completing their final expedition during the Spring term.

“The first day was so beautiful, because the weather was nice. The second day was not as good because the weather wasn’t so nice, and we got lost. I loved just being out there in natural surroundings. ” – Johanna
