Christmas Showjumping Success

Our equestrian team had a great day at Bishop Burton College at the National Schools Equestrian Association (NSEA) Christmas showjumping competition on Sunday.

Year 9 pupil Jemima had a lovely, stylish clear round in the 70cm class with her pony Summer and was just out of the individual placings.

Year 7 pupil Molly M, competing for the first time for The Mount, rode a confident round on her pony Amigo, with just one pole down to finish on 4 faults.

Equestrian Team Manager Lucy Marsh said: “The girls both rode really well and did a great job representing The Mount School. We’re looking forward to the next NSEA competition and will be in training over the Christmas holidays for upcoming events.”
