Three College girls are running 56 miles during the month of February to raise money for Cancer Research UK.
Martha (College I), Charlotte and Rosa (both in College II) have challenged themselves to complete 56 miles this February for life-saving research. The #run56mileschallenge is a Facebook challenge and all the money donated will go to Cancer Research UK.
“Cancer Research UK is close to all our hearts. We have witnessed loved ones fight cancer which has inspired us to raise money for this valuable hardworking charity,” said the girls.
Statistics show 1 in 2 people will get cancer in their lifetime. Cancer Research UK funds 50% of all cancer research here in the UK and together they are a collective of force fighting over 200 cancers.
