The Easter Concert celebrated music inspired by films and musicals, with stunning performances by the school’s groups and ensembles.
The programme included pieces by Adele Adkins (Skyfall), Cee-Lo Green (The Muppets), Rogers and Hammerstein (South Pacific, The Sound of Music), Henry Mancini (The Pink Panther), John Powell (How To Train Your Dragon), Schoenberg and Boublil (Les Miserables), Sherman (Chitty Chitty Bang Bang), Kurt Weill (The Three Penny Opera), and Williams and Hooper (the Harry Potter films).
Thanking the performers at the end of the evening, Principal Adrienne Richmond recognised the time and the effort put in by the girls for their love of music, in addition to a full academic timetable and other activities around the School. Head of Music, Rachel Derbyshire and the peripatetic teachers were also thanked by the appreciative audience.
