Geography Quizzers

Three keen Year 10 geographers represented The Mount at the Geographical Association‘s Worldwise Geography quiz competition.

Leilani, Romilly and Sophie pitted their knowledge against teams from other schools from the local area. 

The format held at Bootham School involved a University Challenge style face-to-face quiz with a different rounds including an alphabet round, Geography in the news, mixed bag and OS map skills. 

The girls did very well answering some very challenging questions in tense conditions. Well done girls!
