Illuminating York 2016

The Mount School will once again be featuring in this year’s Illuminating York Festival which takes place this half term week, 26-29 October.

The design, created in a workshop kindly lead by members of the Society of Light and Lighting, organised by Creative Learning Partnerships, will be projected onto St Michael le Befry Church, situated next to York Minster. The Year 10 pupils thoroughly enjoyed the workshop and the challenges it brought them.

The Illuminating York project is just one part of a programme of events and activities this academic year which aim to add value to pupils’ learning outside the classroom, bringing experience such as coding and light engineering, delivered in partnership with local experts, into School.
