Junior Pupils Raise £500 for Children In Need

Children at The Mount Junior School today raised £523.63 in aid of the national appeal for Children In Need.

The children held stalls selling cakes, toys, books, as well as a beauty parlour, spa, and massages.

Maggie said, “It really good fun. I look forward to Children In Need every single year, because you get to buy stuff with your pocket money and people are really happy. Every time you buy something, you think you’re helping yourself, but you’re really helping other people.”

Grace said,”You know that every pound is going to help someone who needs it more than you.”
