MSA Christmas Fayre

We might not be able to get together for our Christmas Fayre this year but we do not want that to stop us from having some Festive Fun and raising money for the Mount School Association (MSA) and our exciting Outdoor Activity Equipment project.
Instead of the Christmas Fayre, parents have been emailed some Festive ideas to complete at home, competitions to enter, Festive treats to make, and games to be played, all to get you in the Festive mood.

We hope you enjoy our Festive Fun and that you will consider making a donation to the MSA’s Outdoor Activity Equipment Fund.

MSA 2021-2022 Fundraising project: Outdoor Activity Equipment.
This Year the MSA fundraising project aims to raise enough money to replace the Adventure Playground and improve the outdoor space for the whole Mount School community. After more than 15 years the current Adventure Playground (the funds for which were raised by the then MSA), has unfortunately come to the end of its life. When considering how best to replace the Adventure Playground, Mount staff and pupils would like to plan for a range of equipment around The Mount site. This will improve the School’s environment and enrich all of the girls’ experiences of the School grounds.

The idea is to have a variety of equipment aimed at improving health and wellbeing for the whole School, from Early Years right through to College. Equipment and outdoor play space could include:

  • Bouldering Wall
  • Swinging Steps
  • Leg Stretcher & Air Skier
  • Cone Climbers
  • Outdoor Table Tennis
  • Reflection Spaces
  • A new Adventure Playground

The final plans and eventual equipment purchased will depend on the money raised and discussion with the girls and staff. The more money raised the more we can improve and transform, and the bigger impact we can make for the girls.

We hope you enjoy our Festive Fun and that you will consider making a donation to the MSA’s Outdoor Activity Equipment Fund. More details can be found in the MSA Christmas Fayre email.
