What a treat to have talented, published author of books for children, young adults and adults, Dawn Treacher reading her latest book in Prep School this week. Dawn’s daughter is a Mount Old Scholar herself, now studying at a top university.

This week The Mount’s Model United Nations Club travelled to Bootham School to take part in a fascinating conference based on ‘Justice and Reconciliation.’

Invited guests gathered at The Mount to plant trees to mark generous, lifechanging bursaries.

Congratulations to our extremely hardworking GCSE pupils who have achieved an excellent set of results today across a wide variety of subjects.

Sounds of joy and hugs of celebration were the order of the day at The Mount today where pupils’ hard work was again rewarded on Results Day. 

Our school bake sale raised £150 for the important charity Make-A-Wish UK.  

We were proud to win Silver at the Global Genius Music Competition!

Creativity flows through the heart of our school, with consistently high results (majority A*s and As) in Art at GCSE and A Level. Education at The Mount often extends beyond the classroom.
