The Mount Junior School Performing Arts Club have been working tirelessly for their upcoming musical production of J.M Barrie’s classic, Peter Pan.
The children’s dedication to rehearsals and read throughs will all be worth it come next week as the final preparations for their performance get underway. They will hold a final dress rehearsal on the morning of the production, which will undoubtedly generate a real buzz of excitement for the audience-filled evening showcase.
Peter Pan quickly became an iconic character that represented perfectly the innocence of youth and magical escapism. The classic tale which depicts a free-spirited and mischievous young boy who can fly and never grows up is a favourite amongst children, and many adults alike.
We cannot wait to share with you the Junior School’s adaptation of the fictional novel. Guests are invited to attend from 6pm on Wednesday 3 May, with refreshments being served in the Dining Hall ahead of the 6.30pm performance.
Sprinkle a handful of fairy dust magic on your evening by joining us to celebrate the talents of our young performers. Tickets for the event are not required, however, we do kindly ask you indicate your interest in attending and the size of your party via the booking form.
