Rainbow Portraits

Rainbows are used as a symbol of peace and hope as they often appear when the sun follows a heavy rainfall. The rainbow image has been used in recent days as a reminder to stay positive during the coronavirus lockdown and show our appreciation for the NHS and all the key workers.
As part of the last week of term activities the Art & DT department set the Senior School girls the challenge of drawing a self portrait in a certain colour, with each colour representing a year group. The girls rose to the challenge producing a variety of portraits in different medias and of course different colours! The final rainbow brings us together as a School and a community who continue to remain positive and supportive of one another.
