S9 Visit National Holocaust Memorial Centre

S9 visited the Holocaust Memorial Centre on a sunny May day.  For the first time in years, The Mount was the only school visiting that day, and the girls had the staff’s exclusive attention.

The girls heard the survivor testimony of Steven Frank, who was born in Amsterdam in 1935, and whose father, a surgeon, was one of the pioneers of the appendix operation. You read more about the visit at The Mount History Room.
