  • Overall, 70% of the grades were A*- A (7/8/9)
  • 95% of girls achieved at least 5 GCSEs of grade 6 and above
  • 90% of grades were A*- B

  • 100% A-A* (7/8/9) grades awarded for Music

A range of subjects celebrated fantastic results in STEM, humanities and the creative arts despite the girls having to be taught and revise under conditions of lockdown.  Principal Adrienne Richmond said, “All of our girls and teaching staff worked extremely hard during lockdown to support the girls’ studies. Lessons were quickly adapted to maximise the benefits online learning. Despite the unusual and uncertain times of the last few months our girls remained focused on their studies and were determined to achieve their best. They displayed resilience and determination: inspirational qualities that flourish in our all-girl setting. My congratulations go to all of the girls. I am extremely proud of Year 11, not just for their GCSE results but for the progress they have achieved, both academically and personally. It has been a privilege for Mount staff to watch them develop in character and confidence over the years and we look forward to guiding their learning journey through our Sixth Form College.

“At GCSE, performance has been above the national average for maintained schools. Results in IGCSE examinations have been higher than worldwide norms”

“Senior School pupils achieve highly in GCSE examinations, significantly exceeding the results predicted for them in standardised tests.”
