Student PeaceJam Leaders

A group of College girls from The Mount had an amazing weekend in Brussels meeting Nobel Peace Laureates at the PeaceJam International Student Leadership Conference in early September.

Annabelle said “It’s a great opportunity to meet new people and learn new skills. And, it’s also just great fun.”

Celia said she was enjoyed building on what she had learned at the PeaceJam Slam in Winchester, and was also looking forward to meeting Nobel Peace Laureates the Dalai Lama (1989) and Jody Williams (1997).

Ella said she was inspired by hearing Jody Williams talk about the importance of taking action.
