The Mount School Equestrian Team


 

Calling all horse riders!

Are you interested in being part of the school equestrian team to compete in National Schools Equestrian Association (NSEA) events? NSEA runs competitions throughout the year in a range of disciplines, including showjumping, dressage, arena eventing and eventing. There’s something for everyone, from experienced competitors jumping 1m20 to those just starting out at grassroots level.

Ex-Mountie, Harriet Morris-Baumber, international event rider and trainer has kindly offered to coach The Mount equestrian team from her base in Everingham, York. Harriet provides training for riders of all levels, and has fantastic facilities including all-weather arena with floodlights, showjumps, cross country training field and grass dressage arena.

Harriet also rides and competes horses on behalf of clients and has had huge success in her career, including Team Bronze at the CIC** European Championships.

To be considered for the team, you will need:

  • Your own horse or pony (or loan horse / pony)
  • Access to transport
  • Commitment to train regularly
  • Be between 8 and 19 years old
