At The Mount School York we are an oasis in the city and benefit from a spacious 15-acre campus providing pupils with a safe and secure place to learn.
The Mount School is set in 15 acres of grounds in the heart of York. Spacious lawns and playing fields are surrounded by school buildings all within a 15-minute walk of York’s historic city centre.
Our main School building was purpose-built to house a School for Quaker daughters in 1856. Over the years we have expanded the campus to accommodate sports facilities, modern learning facilities and The Mount Prep School. The original buildings are a fascinating reminder of our rich history but offer the most up-to-date learning environments and technology relevant to school life today.
