Your memories of ‘The Arts’

2021 marks 50 years since the revival of the York Mystery Plays, many Mount girls have taken part over the years including Judi Dench and Mary Ure. The Arts continue to thrive at The Mount today and the English, Drama, Art & Music departments are currently busy planning a ‘Mystery’ Creative Arts Festival to take place at the end of the School year. We would like to celebrate by looking back at The Arts over the last 50 years and need your help! We want to hear your memories of The Arts at The Mount and view any photos you may have. If you would like to share your memories, in writing or perhaps by a voice note, or if you would like to speak at the Annual Gathering (time permitting) please let Sarah Moore know. Alternatively, if you have any photos or memorabilia you would like to share, please contact Sarah Moore at
