Venue Hire

At The Mount School York we benefit from a range of sports facilities.

During the evenings, at the weekend and throughout our school holidays we offer the hire of our sports and recreational facilities to the general public. Current clients include; football teams, badminton clubs, swimming schools, gymnastics clubs, handball and netball teams.

Facilities for hire include:

  • Sports Hall

  • Fitness Suite

  • Gymnasium

  • Indoor Swimming Pool (including spectator gallery)

  • Classrooms

  • Badminton Courts

  • Table Tennis

  • 5-a-side Football Pitch

  • Cricket Nets (indoor)

  • Tennis Courts (both grass and hard courts)

  • Outdoor Sport Fields

  • Car Parking

Location

The Mount Sports Centre is housed in its own building accessed via the school carpark.  Access to the School car park is via Driffield Terrace. The Swimming Pool is housed in the school building but must also be accessed via the School carpark. Visitors hiring the facilities must report to The Mount School Staff based in the Sports Centre. You will then be provided with access to the facilities and the Swimming Pool. Car parking is available with the first hours parking free.
