Dazzling Musical Display from Key Stage 2
On Wednesday afternoon, our Junior School Key Stage 2 Musicians gave a dazzling display of the pieces they have been practising this term.
We were treated to a wonderful array of performances – solos, duets, trios, Beat It!, Recorder Consort, String Ensemble, and Junior Orchestra. Finally, the Musical Production team took to the stage to give the audience a taste of what is to come after Easter with a song ‘Tick, Tock’ from Peter Pan, which takes place on 3rd May at 18:30.
Young musicians zoomed around the Main School Hall as they swapped between instruments and got their music in order, but every single performance was a moment to remember – the Mount pupils demonstrated that when it’s time to play or sing, nothing else matters, and each and every girl approached their performance with great poise.
We look forward to the next Key Stage 2 Musical Showcase in the Autumn Term.
