Frau Thompson’s 40 Years

Mount pupils over the past 40 years will owe some part of their education to Mrs Thompson, who began at the School in 1977 as a teacher of German.  In more recent times, girls have benefitted from Mrs Thompson’s exceptional careers advice and guidance on university applications. Today, Mrs Thompson is also Head of College, leading The Mount’s Sixth Form with great care and gentle humour.

This morning, as the staff celebrated Mrs Thompson’s 40 years of service with The Mount, where she thanked them with her characteristic twinkle and, “here’s to the next 40, eh?”
