We have concluded our first-ever Senior School Art department Photography Competition! The theme was, simply, Friendship and girls were able to interpret the theme as they wished. The standard of the entries was very high indeed and it was quite a task for Mrs Milton, who judged the competition, to pick the winners.
Congratulations to Beatrice (Year 9) whose simple black and white portrait won. Beatrice says that friendship is “being happy and contented with someone”. The second winner is Milly (Year 7) who produced a hand-drawn animation based on ‘just a chat’ that can make all the difference to your day.
Each entry earned two House Points with additional points for the winners. Well done, girls!
