Jammin’ out at the Key Stage 1 Junior Jamboree  

Our youngest pupils gathered in the music recital room to wow their proud parents and family members with what they have learnt so far in their lessons and beyond.  

The girls demonstrated wonderful performance etiquette, something that Mrs Passmore has been encouraging to enable them to enjoy shows and concerts both in school and out. In a mix of group and solo performances, the audience was entertained throughout the morning. 

The show opened with a group vocal performance, followed by a flurry of talented violinists, flautist, piano recitals, group drumming demonstrations and the school’s youngest brass player also performed. To close the show, the girls gathered their egg shakers for a crackin’ and energetic performance of ‘Shake-a My Egg.’ 

The girls did so well in front of an audience and everyone in The Mount community is feeling very proud, well done everyone!
