We look forward to welcoming Fran Duffy, Captain of the Republic of Ireland Netball Team to The Mount this week.
We look forward to welcoming As part of our on going Careers programme and series of guest speakers, this Wednesday we welcome Fran Duffy an Associate in the Corporate Commercial department at Myerson Solicitors and the current Captain for the Republic of Ireland Netball team. Fran has over 46 international caps and has competed at international level across the world.
Balancing a demanding career as a Solicitor with a thriving international career is no easy feat. Yet for Fran Duffy, its challenge she’s embraced with determination and grace. Whilst at The Mount she will host a presentation and Q&A sessions for pupils from Year 6 to Sixth Form. Following this during the Senior School games session Fran will host a coaching session sharing her tips and skills.
Mr Waddington, Deputy Head of College said, “Fran is one of our Principal, Mr Griffiths former pupils, and I looking forward to hearing about her journey from School to now, and how she is able to balance her schedule of Law and competitive international sport.”
