Sports Results

The weather has not been the best, but our girls have still managed to bring home some fantastic sports results.

Both Junior and Senior Schools held House Swimming which was completed in great, fun, sporting spirit by all. Congratulations to Rowntrees who won the Senior contest and Terrys who won the Junior competition.

In the Junior School, Year 6 girls took part in the York Schools Sports Network event, and Years 5 & 6 enjoyed the start of their Yoga Club. U11 Netball played in a tournament at Pocklington Prep where they came second out of seven schools. Well done, girls!

U12 & U13 Netball won against Queen Margaret’s. Later on our Swim Squad had a very competitive gala against Queen Margaret’s which we narrowly lost.

U12A Netball came second in the York Schools’ tournament at St Olave’s, losing to Manor School in the final but playing incredibly well #WellDoneGirls.

College Netball travelled to Silcoates where they took part in a competitive tournament against local schools, notching up two solid wins.

Congratulations to India (Y4) who won a silver medal in backstroke at the York City Baths Club swimming competition.
