The Tregelles Ball

We welcomed guests to the Tregelles Ball to celebrate in style 30 years since The Mount Junior School was founded.

Welcome drinks on the lawns were accompanied by live music by Mrs Bembridge and Mrs Leaman-Brown and the most beautiful, balmy summer evening weather. A pop-up cocktail bar served delicious concoctions and entertained happy queues with good humour. Guests chatted by the Outdoor Classroom, which was festooned with a floral crown and fairy lights, before being invited in to the Sports Hall which had been transformed into a dazzling indoor marquee for the meal. Between the main course and dessert, revellers played a game of ‘Heads and Tails’ for a prize of one night’s accommodation two and a meal for two at the Principal Hotel. Proceeds of the game support the MSA’s Playground fund.

Sumptuous food with delicious drinks were followed by a live band played to a packed dance floor from the first song to the very last. A brilliant time was had by all.

The organisers are grateful to the Tregelles Ball‘s generous sponsors without whom the evening would not have been such a huge success: Seldamyl, MKM, David Wilson Hair, Wilson Vale, the Principal Hotel, Jane Kaye Skincare and Belle Blooms.

Thanks to Crazy Horses, King Marquees, LiquorLab and Purple Chilli Event Catering and York Wines.

The Mount is thankful to the organising committee who were a living Dream Team: Mrs Daniels, Mrs Hymas, Mrs Kaye, Mrs MacDonald, Mrs Platon and Mrs Wilson.
