World Book Day Cafe
Our English Department held a fantastic Book Tasting session in the Library at lunchtime, inviting girls to “taste” different genres and new book arrivals.
Senior School girls were able to read a “mini book” to whet their appetites for different genres, browse well-loved and new books, and enjoy genre-themed treats.
The Junior School also joined in the celebrations. Year 5s and 6s visited the Book Cafe, and read stories to girls in Pre-School. Girls in Reception and Year 1 read from their favourite stories and other year groups tried to find the quirkiest places to read, played with fun plots, genres and characters.
