Mount Book Fair Raises Nearly £600 for Prep School Library Refresh

Following on from our Scholastic Book Fair in February, The Mount Prep School has purchased new books and resources!

We have refreshed the Prep School Library with new stock, offering children an exciting and varied selection of books to read and borrow, thanks to our wonderful Mount community.

We have also expanded our emotional literacy collection. These specially-selected books can help children understand and talk about different feelings and experiences, particularly during times when they may be worried, unsettled or going through a period of change.

These resources aren’t only for use in school. We are also happy to lend appropriate books to families to read together at home. If your child is experiencing something in particular and you feel that a book might help to open up a conversation, please let us know and we can look at what resources we have available.

Thank you for making all of this possible through your wonderful support of our annual Book Fair, it is events like these that allow us to raise the next generation of bookworms!
