Super Saturday for Senior School Netball

Our committed Senior School netballers showed their motivation and camaraderie as they braved the elements together on Saturday afternoon.  

Representatives from the ages, U12 – U19 descended upon Ampleforth College for a series of thrilling fixtures. It was an afternoon of exciting play as the closely matched teams battled it out, ultimately resulting in wins for our U12/13 and U14 teams, a draw for the U15s and an unfortunate loss for our 1st team. 

The cold weather did little to hinder the spirits of the girls as they cheered from the side-lines where possible and ensured that a wonderful day was had by all, irrespective of the outcome. 

A jam-packed schedule of play meant that there were 4 deserving POMs across the teams. Congratulations to Peggy (Y8), Ursie (Y9), Miryam (Y10) and Lucky (College I) and a huge well done to all of the players.
