We Rocked Around the Christmas Tree at our Sell-Out Charity Ball!

Everyone looked wondrous, debonair & dapper in their festive finery at our magical Charity Christmas Ball, making merry to raise funds for important charities, Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Association and York Against Cancer.

The MND Association is a charity focused on improving access to care, research and campaigning for people affected by Motor Neurone Disease.

York Against Cancer’s mission is to make a difference to everybody affected by cancer – whether a patient, carer, or loved one.

Our first charity ball, a ‘Jingle Mingle’, saw Year 11, College I & II and family and friends and other invited schools dance the night away after a sophisticated and delicious dinner.

A huge success, credit must go to Jo Goudriaan and the College Leadership Team who planned and executed a fantastic evening, with those who attended already planning the next one.

It was wonderful to rub shoulders with counterparts and peers from Scarborough College, Ackworth School and Queen Ethelburga’s for such good causes, and for new friendships to be forged across a trio of desserts. And we even magicked up real snow!

A legendary evening – we expect tickets to sell out quickly next time.
