York City FC Host Regional Talent Camp Inductions at The Mount

York City FC have started their Regional Talent Camp inductions and training at The Mount School York. With the U16, U14 and U12 girls’ teams working hard in their first session last week.

The Schools Leisure Centre Manager, Lindsey Burgess, who also contributed to the York FC Strength & Conditioning programme said, “I am excited to begin this journey with York City FC. It is an extremely exciting time for us here at The Mount School, and for women and girls’ football. I am proud to play a part in the development of female football in York and look forward to watching the teams progress this season.”

The recently promoted, and County Cup winning York FC Ladies 1st XI have also started training at The Mount School. With the summer nights starting to draw in, the induction evening was the ideal opportunity for the teams to test out the portable lights.

We wish all the teams a wonderful pre-season and good luck for the season ahead. We will continue to share regular updates on their progress over the coming months.
