Congratulations to our extremely hardworking GCSE pupils who have achieved an excellent set of results today across a wide variety of subjects.

Sounds of joy and hugs of celebration were the order of the day at The Mount today where pupils’ hard work was again rewarded on Results Day. 

Our school bake sale raised £150 for the important charity Make-A-Wish UK.  

We were proud to win Silver at the Global Genius Music Competition!

Creativity flows through the heart of our school, with consistently high results (majority A*s and As) in Art at GCSE and A Level. Education at The Mount often extends beyond the classroom.

We are delighted to have been shortlisted today for Independent School for Student Careers (Independent Schools of the Year Awards, 2025).

In celebration of 240 years of our beloved Mount School York, pupils, staff and our wider school community will be making music, non-stop, for 24 hours!

The Mount was pleased to welcome back young alumnae thriving in a wide range of exciting university and college courses, to impart some of their wisdom and experience to current pupils. 

For fantastic charity Sports Champions – which raises funds for future athletes and schools – we were lucky to be visited by breakdancer Mackenzie Clayton.
