Junior School Recreates Ancient Mayan City

For their Creative Curriculum this half term, Junior School girls have been recreating the ancient Mayan city of Copan.

The girls studied the maps, drawings and photographs of Victorian explorers, Alfred Maudslay and Frederick Catherwood and then rebuilt the city using Lego.

The girls enjoyed themselves learning about each different building (including a fantastic ball court) and temple. They made their own presentations and even gave a guided tour of their City!
