Already Leaders in Dance Provision, The Mount’s New Dance Studio Will Set Us Apart
Our brand-new state-of-the-art dance studio is emerging superfast and will be ready for the first steps, jumps and leaps of our talented dancers by February 2026.
Beyond excited, our pupils learn dance in PE lessons and in bespoke dance clubs, and are successful in both local and national competitions.
Before the Christmas break there will be a fully constructed and watertight building in place with only the interiors left to complete.
In October 2025, the first sod was cut on our new on-site dance studio next to our sports hall and gym.
Head, Anna Wilby, and Director of Sport, Fiona Newman, assembled with some of our dance pupils to mark this historic day.
Head, Anna said:
“We are so delighted work has started and cannot wait to see the results in early 2026. Finalists in The Great Big Dance Off recently, this space will enhance our already enviable dance provision.”
Mount pupils will enjoy these top-class facilities daily and Patricia Veale Dance School will also run its diverse timetable from the studio.
