Junior School Pupils Embark on Memorable Seaside Adventure

The excitement was palpable as two groups of enthusiastic Junior School pupils set off on an unforgettable adventure to the seaside on Wednesday.

Children from the Pre-School and Key Stage 1 made their way to Bridlington, whilst Key Stage 2 pupils ventured to Filey, both stunning spots on the Yorkshire Coast!
Leaving behind the familiar school classrooms, the young explorers eagerly embraced the opportunity to explore the sandy shores, breathe in the salty sea air, and create cherished memories.
Accompanied by their teachers and with their buckets and spades in hand, the students embarked on a day filled with laughter, learning, and the joy of discovery. The older girls enjoyed creating sand creatures shaping their friends into sharks, mermaids and an octopus! The younger pupils showed great bravery by paddling in the cold North Sea – eagerly jumping the waves!

Everybody ended the trip in a British Seaside tradition enjoying a delicious ice cream as the sun broke through the clouds!
“My favourite part of the day was the ice cream! And creating sand shapes!” Hope
