Boarding Activities For All

Pupils in the Boarding House participated in various activities over the weekend. The activities on offer included creative crafts, strength and conditioning and swimming.

The girls were able to utilise the newly refurbished strength and conditioning suite as they plugged in their earphones, got into the zone, and took to the various stations to work up a sweat! Complete with weight racks, a cardio section, spin bikes, treadmills, rowing machines and ample space for HIIT training and stretches, the recently refurbished gym has already proven popular with pupils.

Keen to share her artistic talents with her new friends, Eleanore in Year 8 took the opportunity to craft some decorative creations, perfect for decorating bedrooms and social areas. “l made bird and dragonfly wall hangings out of card to give to my friends in boarding. They took me a long time but are beautiful”

As the start of the new week approached, the boarding girls were able to spend some leisurely time together in the swimming pool, playing with the inflatables and practising their technique.

It was really good fun. My arms hurt now as I’ve not worked so hard in a while!” – Angel, College II
