Quaker Walk for Plan UK

Yesterday, pupils from Year 1 upwards took to the streets of York to recognise both The Mount School’s Quaker heritage within the city and to raise money for Plan UK.

Everyone enjoyed the time away from lessons to reconnect with our Quaker values, visit the old site of The Mount School on Castlegate and learn more about the history of York Quakers at Friend’s Meeting House. As you will see from the photographs, they also enjoyed an ice cream in Homestead Park! Well done to everyone who walked and raised money in support of Plan UK.
