Welcome home, adventurers! Our intrepid Borealis College explorers have returned from an epic 4-week expedition across East Greenland.
The expedition, titled “In the footsteps of The British Arctic Air Route Expedition 1930-31”, aimed to retrace the historic journey of the British Arctic Air Route while conducting new research.
The team explored the same region of East Greenland that served as the base for the original 1930-31 expedition, venturing into similar mountainous terrain. Their research focused on the area’s flora and the culture of the indigenous people.
Back at The Mount, the party of College girls and staff members of the Mount School Borealis Society were greeted by their loved ones and furry friends! Right now the pupils are enjoying a well deserved rest, but we will report back with stories from their adventures soon!
