‘Top Girls’ Awarded at Swim Club Presentation Evening
Congratulations to Chloe (Y9), India (Y7) and Jess (Y6) who each received awards at their Swimming Club’s Presentation Evening over the weekend.
Representing York City Baths Club, the accomplished swimmers were each awarded the Top Girl award in their respective age categories. Nominations were performance-based, and the final winners were determined by competitors’ results at the Club Championships in November 2022.
India’s exceptional performance at the Club Championships saw her achieve gold medals in all 5 of her races and resulted in 3 personal bests and 2 Yorkshire qualifying times. Earlier that same month, sisters Emma and Jess each received personal best times at the Club’s Yorkshire Winter Competition. Fellow Mount School pupil and talented swimmer, Chloe, also firmly secured herself in the top rankings having recently been promoted to the club’s National Squad where she trains 7 days a week.
With the girls showing such promise and determination in the sport, we cannot wait to see what fantastic achievements they each go on to achieve next. Well done to all!
