Fraud Blocker

The Mount Old Scholars’ Association was founded in 1881, fifty years after the school was first based in Castlegate in 1831. The school was originally founded in Trinity Street in 1785.

The Mount Old Scholars’ Association is open to all Old Scholars’ of The Mount School as well as to past and present members of staff.

Our aims are:

  • To support the educational advancement and development of current and former pupils of The Mount School.
  • To facilitate contact between Old Scholars.

Over the years, MOSA has also been able to contribute to developments in the School to improve and update the already excellent facilities that are on offer.

MOSAfriends.org Portal

MOSA is delighted to invite Mount Old Scholars to register and join the newly launched MOSAfriends.org portal. Mount Old Scholars and former members of staff are invited to register at the page to login and reconnect with others from your school days.

The portal is a safe, online space for Old Scholars to reconnect, network, mentor, share stories and support The Mount Foundation. Keep up to date with events, reunions, and happenings in the life of the School.

The Mount School Archives

The Mount School Archive is full of photographs, paintings, artefacts and old school publications.  They all help document the rich history and heritage of The Mount School.

If you have any photographs or documents you would like to add to the school’s Archive please contact Vanessa Charters at The Mount on mosa@mountschoolyork.co.uk
