Archer Emma Hits The Bull’s-Eye! – U16 Gold Medal Winner

Hot shot Emma was crowned U16 Gold Medal Champion at the Junior National Indoor Championships at Stoneleigh Park in Warwickshire recently.

Modest Emma, said: “I’m happy all my hard work paid off, but I plan to keep on improving.”

Talented 15-year-old archer, Emma, didn’t stop there. She also placed tenth out of 76 against competitors aged 15-20. Emma’s amazing performance sees her invited to shoot in the three-week April GB qualification rounds for the European and World Championships which take place over the summer.

Mature Emma reasoned, “I’m keen to represent GB but I will be concentrating on my exams round then, so we’ll see what happens.”

Emma will need a trophy cabinet soon as this is her fifth national medal so far this season with a tally of two golds, two silvers and a bronze.

Bravo Emma! We’re so proud of you at The Mount.
