Junior School pupils have been studying the work of sculptor, Jill Townsley, in Art.
The girls have been learning about Jill’s large installations, which use multiple units of a single item to create one large sculpture. Her work typically uses everyday items which may be found within the home, such as rubber bands, broom bristles and ping pong balls.
The girls made their own, smaller scale versions of a sculpture, inspired by Jill’s work.
