Who is British Contemporary Artist Ian Murphy?

Drawing, and the need to discover visual experiences in the outside world, are at the forefront of Ian Murphy’s practice. His constant passion for drawing on location and his energy to travel to feed his sketchbook practice has been fundamental to the success of his collections. Ian is best known for his powerful, tonal drawings and atmospheric, mixed media oil paintings of architectural places.

Who is the Summer School for?

This bespoke course is the ideal opportunity for pupils looking to strengthen their portfolio and creative practice ahead of their GCSE or A Level examinations.

  • Enhance your skill in perspective drawing.
  • Work on various individual pieces through a series of daily technical tasks.
  • Work collaboratively on a large-scale group painting project.
